FAQ
Installation issues
  • What are the SSD installation restrictions in the LUCA case?

Supports only SATA3.0 SSDs up to 7mm in height.

Troubleshooting
  • What could be the reason for two USB ports on LUCA’s IO panel not working?

The LUCA case includes two USB 3.0 cables. The number of ports on the motherboard determines how many devices can be connected. One USB 3.0 port corresponds to two USB Type-A ports on the I/O panel. If the motherboard has only one USB 3.0 port, then two USB Type-A ports on the I/O panel can be used, and the other two cannot be used.

Product Consulation
  • What is the purpose of the GPU support bracket?

To prevent lager GPUs from causing PCB backplate bending.

  • How can I determine if my motherboard is compatible?

    Compatible with E-ATX (width < 280mm), ATX, m-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards.

  • What is the maximum hard drive size supported?

The SSD/HDD mounting brackets support a total of 9x 2.5" SSDs and 2x 3.5" HDDs. You can install both SSDs and HDDs simultaneously. If you install 2x HDDs, up to 5x 2.5" SSDs can be installed.

  • How many fans can LUCA support, and what is the limit?

With the power supply compartment mounted at the top, it supports up to 8x 140mm fans and 1x 120mm fan. If the power supply compartment is moved to the bottom, it supports up to 7x 140mm fans and 1x 120mm fan.

  • How often should the dust filters be cleaned, and can they be cleaned by the user?

Depends on user preferences and surrounding environment.

  • Does LUCA support vertical GPU mounting?

By purchasing a vertical GPU mounting bracket (including a PCIe 4.0 extension cable which is not included), vertical mounting of the graphics card is supported.

  • Is LUCA designed with a compartmentalized structure?

The LUCA case features a single-chamber design with the power supply and motherboard on the same side, giving the system a slimmer and more elegant appearance.

  • What is the maximum radiator size supported by LUCA?

Supports a maximum of 420mm liquid cooling radiators.

  • What is the maximum graphics card supported by LUCA?

    460mm

  • How do I know this case will work for my PC build?

    1.The size of the motherboard
2.The length limit of the power supply
3.The length limit of the graphics card
4.The height limit of the CPU cooler
5.The number of fans on the water cooling radiator (e.g., 240mm or 360mm)

Verify the dimensions of the motherboard, power supply, graphics card, and CPU cooler with their respective vendors to ensure compatibility within the case’s specified range.

  • Does the case support an inverted motherboard layout?

    Not supported

  • What is the height clearance for CPU coolers?

    170mm

  • How can the front USB port achieve a transfer rate of 20G?

The device and transmission line must both support 20G transfer rate.
